Bright Circle is a technical writing agency based in Sydney (Eora). We provide technical writing consulting services to clients in the engineering, construction and maintenance industries. We are masterful writers and editors, and use our problem solving and creative abilities to help our clients express themselves in writing. We help our clients write, edit, plan, and produce their bid and tender responses for multi-million and multibillion-dollar contracts.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Hybrid Writer/Editor – Bids & Proposals
Bright Circle is a specialist bid consultancy supporting construction companies to win major infrastructure projects. We seek an experienced Writer/Editor to join our team on a permanent, project-based basis across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth.
About the Role:
Work flexibly on a pipeline of bids (typically 4–8 weeks each) with time off between projects.
Write, edit, and manage content for road, rail, water, power, and Defence tenders.
Engage with subject matter experts, run workshops, and manage reviews.
Hybrid arrangement (2–3 days per week in client offices or our CBD locations).

Required Experience & Skills:
2–3 years of direct bid/grant writing experience.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
Ability to work hybrid and commute to the CBD when required.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
